Try opening your textbook to the chapters that talk about the American and Japanese occupation in the Philippines. How many heroines can you find? When we tried this, we found only about two or three. So where are they?
That's what the team behind Mamayani is fighting for. Mamayani is a project made to bring the heroines to the spotlight of history education along with the heroes we know. Set in the times of the American and Japanese occupations, you can experience what it was like for these heroines when they fought for the country, and even fight alongside them!
Created for a thesis project in 2018, Mamayani is now on itch.io while it prepares for further development, new and improved. The game is free, but you can support us by donating as you download or simply playing or sharing it!

WOW I've been trying to find this game for a while omg !! excited to play :D
Edit 1: Just finished act 1, wow! I love how this game made me think about my motives, challenged my views, and... just wow. It's really something, and I love it very much. Currently downloading act 2, and I'll be looking forward to it too !!
Edit 2: Just finished act 2, I still love it! Although it did not hurt me as it did with Act 1, the ending wrap-up is still nice, though it really felt short ;;;;
